Fendi : Fendi is just as much about the name as it is about the design. Like many of the older fashion houses (dating back to the 1920s in this case), Fendi's logo features heavily on its garments. While the brand's runway looks are still as classic as ever, as seen in this leather fringe shoulder bag, their move into streetwear has brought with it a more bold and playful approach. Silvia Venturini Fendi is the label's current creative director. Valentino: This luxury powerhouse was founded in 1960 by Valentino Garavani. Over the years it has become the go-to for fashionistas that admire its 'jet set' aesthetic, which sources inspiration from every corner of the globe. Valentino's current creative director is Pierpaolo Piccioli, who often turns his back on skin-tight silhouettes in favor of the voluminous. Valentino has also found a new audience in its Rockstud accessories, launched in 2010.
Dolce & Gabbana : Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana met in Milan in the 1980s and started their label. The pair are both still the leading designer's at the brand, which is best known for its use of bold prints, like this pink clutch bag with leopard print. In recent years Dolce & Gabbana have further expanded their accessories offering and partake in creative collaborations, including designing a statement kettle for homewares retailer Smeg.
Furla :When seeking a classic Italian leather bag, many women look no further than Furla. Moschino has always been a playful brand and while Love Moschino adopts this in some of its designs, it also has a sophisticated edge. Quilted and studded leather bags like this one are a signature.
Michael Kors: The first Michael Kors collection was released in 1981. The label has become synonymous with classic design, with its womenswear collections often focused on sharp tailored and neutral palettes.
