Fendi : Fendi is just as much about the name as it is about the design. Like many of the older fashion houses (dating back to the 1920s in this case), Fendi's logo features heavily on its garments. While the brand's runway looks are still as classic as ever, as seen in this leather fringe shoulder bag, their move into streetwear has brought with it a more bold and playful approach. Silvia Venturini Fendi is the label's current creative director.

Valentino: This luxury powerhouse was founded in 1960 by Valentino Garavani. Over the years it has become the go-to for fashionistas that admire its 'jet set' aesthetic, which sources inspiration from every corner of the globe. Valentino's current creative director is Pierpaolo Piccioli, who often turns his back on skin-tight silhouettes in favor of the voluminous. Valentino has also found a new audience in its Rockstud accessories, launched in 2010.

Dolce & Gabbana : Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana met in Milan in the 1980s and started their label. Furla :When seeking a classic Italian leather bag, many women look no further than Furla. This label is steeped in quality and sophistication their minimal accessories provide the perfect accompaniment for work or play, without the loud bells and whistles seen from other brands. The boldest feature you'll see on a Furla bag is a metal buckle or two, or the occasional bold lining. For a label nearing its 100th birthday, Furla's more current than ever.

Gucci: Another label that's almost 100 years old is Gucci and the only reason the label's managed to retain its popularity over the years is by rapidly evolving almost no one does it better. Gucci is known for its use of prints, especially its florals, but it has also adapted to take a large share of the younger market with its logo-embellished streetwear, like these patterned leather sneakers.

This label's designs are timeless and they were way ahead of the curve when it comes to hobo bags, which secured them a spot as a Coachella staple. Every season Coach continues to release versatile accessories fit for the mindful woman.

Love Moschino: Love Moschino is a sub-label of the fashion brand Moschino which it created in the 1980s for its jeans collection but re-branded in 2008 for a new line of accessories. The label has become synonymous with classic design, with its womenswear collections often focused on sharp tailored and neutral palettes.
